Recently, Aptiva Care Management had a client with moderate to advanced Alzheimer’s. Her family in Seattle wished that she relocate there to an appropriate memory care facility. Her daughters and grandchildren could visit often and the family could personally monitor her care. Unfortunately, this Newport Beach based client was unable to make the trip to Seattle via airplane due to her diagnosis.` To solve this healthcare dilemma the President of Aptiva Care Management, Marc Friedman, rented a car and drove the client to Seattle himself. Marc drove 1300 miles and 26 hours straight through to their destination, ensuring she would arrive safely. This certainly shows Aptiva’s willingness to go the extra mile for clients and their families!
